Properties can be rendered uninhabitable and unsafe as a consequence of contamination
with a range of biological hazards e.g... blood, body fluids, animal’s excrement
or hazards associated with the build-up and decomposition of household waste. Exposure
to biological and chemical contaminants can pose serious health consequences for
occupants, employees, and owners. Failure to properly and safely remove such substances
can contribute to unhealthy and even dangerous environments.
Our technicians are FULLY TRAINED to safely and effectively remove bio-hazardous
substances and dispose of them properly according to OSHA and health regulations,
equipped with the necessary safety equipment and cleaning products. Our technicians
help turn unsafe environments into clean, safe homes and offices.

- Treat all bodily fluids as if they are contaminated
- Turn off the HVAC system if there is sewage damage or any bio-hazard odours

- Attempt cleanup of any kind
- Touch or handle items that might be contaminated with bodily fluids
- Eat, drink, smoke, apply cosmetics or handle contact lenses in affected areas
If exposed to harmful waste, OSHA recommends a post-exposure medical evaluation.

Cleaners vetting procedure
"Safety of our clients is paramount"
We know that it take a lot to allow a stranger into your premises hence the reason
that we ensure that we take all the adequate steps to guarantee the peace of mind
of our clients when it comes to theft by ensuring that all our cleaners and all
employee of Smart Link Management are full vetted.
All our cleaners are aware of all the things we have put in place so the possibility
of them taken what does not belong to them quickly evaporate; this is largely due
to our vetting procedure.
We know our cleaners and our cleaners know that we know them. Before our cleaners
are employed by us we need to know the following:
- We know and verify where they live
- We know and verify their work history
- We know and verify who they are
- We speak to their referees and a member of their family, and document them

They under-go an interview with our in-house HR manager and a member of our board
of director
Proof of address and Identification:
We must see and make copies of original proof of the following documents.

Written Reference:
We require 2 written references from all of our operative’s staffs. One should be
work or school reference and the other must be a personal reference from someone
that has known the applicant for more that 3year.
Our vetting manager has gone through an advance training course to ensure that a
reference is genuine and that the referees are giving a true and honest appraisal
of the applicant.
Permission to work in UK:
All of our operative’s staffs must be entitled to work in UK. Our vetting manager
ensures that this is so. Even after employment we regularly go back to the staff
files to ensure that they are still entitled to work.
Next of Kin Details:
We ensure that the details of the applicant’s next of kin are taken. We also ensure
that we speak to them to verify the details given by the applicant.
